Love Makes A Family

Kids are great, having a partner in life is great, and, heck, who doesn’t want grandchildren? But the thirty-something generation has more choices and less money. I don’t press my kids on much, except to be strong and try to be better, and work at being on the same page with people in their lives. They’ve all achieved a lot, but feel they have plenty of time to decide on having kids.

I saw this scene, took a picture, and painted it. Love Makes A Family. I may not have grandchildren yet, or ever, but I see a lot of love, happiness, and deep friendship in my children’s lives. It fulfills all of my parental hopes.

Happy Sunday.
