Love Is In The Air

I had the opportunity to attend my aunt’s 90th birthday. This meant flying out of BWI, a hotel room, and lots of family. Well, it was wonderful. Love and laughter and talk and rejuvenation. There’s something so mentally and emotionally restorative about being with 50 loving happy people for two days. And don’t get me started on flying even though I’m terrified.
I came back home to the roofers installing my new roof, finally. I know it’s been leaking for longer than I’ve been writing this blog. I came home with a new fire to paint, to make things. And, I came home with a warmer heart. Maybe it’s finally time to get out more. I say that all the time, but I’m feeling it now. The weather is gorgeous.
